Hey ,
I threw a site together quickly for a friend

www.fuku.se

As you can on a computer , at the bottom of the page appears an .gif of a phone and is followed by a telephone number. Said telephone number is visible on windows, mac, blackberry but disappear on when the site is view on an Iphone.

Well , at least it becomes black (so is invisible due to background).

Any ideas why ? Or how to fix this ?

Cheers, much appreciated.

Have you coded the number in White? It is there cos it is selectable.

Yeah thats what I do not get. I can see it's there because it is selectable but just not sure why it disappears on i phone.

As far as coding it in white ? Well yeah I have done exactly the same as I would with any other link with it. Just not sure why phone numbers seem to act differently with the iphone. Confused.

Maybe they apply some internal style sheet or something to make it dialable. Try to hardcode it white it the /div/ within /td/ itself.

maybe it becomes black because it's treated as a link
