iPhone phone randomly waking up

for some reason today, my phone has started randomly waking up and turning the screen on.

no messages, no alerts...just screen turns on, then off again....a minute later..same thing....and so on

I've rebooted completely..but still doing it with no apparent reason.

Maybe you're getting notifications but they're just not displaying on the lock screen. Check your notification center settings

nope...turned off every single notification...still happening

I am seeing this too and don't understand why it's happening. It kills my battery too.

so I've found the cause of mine

I have biteSMS installed and since scheduled SMS wasn't working, I have a stuck sms scheduled...I can't delete it, but Bite keeps trying to send it...

so, I've had to change the schedule date to 2015 to stop it happening.
