I think I have posted in here a handful of times the entire time I’ve been on MacRumors, but in the last week, I’ve posted 3 times.

Why would my phone ring out loud only half ring or 1 whole ring then no sound? I mean it’s still technically ringing, as the call is coming through, but the sound stops after a half or maybe whole single ring.

Any ideas?

I am having several issues that are quite frustrating. Just wondering if it’s related to the updates or what. I’m completely up to date.

Hmmm. That sounds like what would happen if you pressed a volume button or the lock button while it's ringing... it silences the ring. I wonder if one of those buttons may be sticky? Is this the iPhone 15 Pro you list in your signature? If it's in a case, try taking it out and see if anything changes.

Yes, the 15 pro, but it happens before I even touch or pick up the phone. I feel like if the button was actually stuck, it wouldn’t ring at all to begin with, but I’ll try taking it out of the case and have someone call me to see if that makes a difference.

Yeah, I'm skeptical the buttons are sticking, tbh. Otherwise you'd be having issues outside the phone app. I took a gander at a couple of your other posts since you said you are having other issues. First thing to try is a hard reset of the iPhone.

If that doesn't work, I'd do a full backup of your iPhone (do an iCloud backup AND one on your Mac); do a clean reinstall; then restore the backup. This "should" clear up any software-related gremlins that a simply reboot can't clear up.
