Phone rings twice then call fails -- both incoming and outgoing!

Phone: 8 gig 3G, a few weeks old, not jailbroken



If the person I'm calling does not pick up by the 2nd ring, the call stops and the screen says "Call failed."

If I call my phone and it isn't picked up by the 2nd ring, it fails as well and goes to a quick busy signal.

Is this a typical problem? Should I reset the phone? Bring it in?

Try a hard reset, hold down home button + power until it resets. If that does not work try a full restore.

Yep, hold them both down until you see the Apple logo.. not just until it blackscreens..

Don't hold them TOO long, though, or you'll go into restore mode.
