Phone stuck on verifying

My 5s has gone odd: it just displays the Apple logo. I’ve tried updating it via iTunes but that did nothing: it just sat there on verifying. I tried restoring it and it does the same thing. I’ve tried on two computers with the same results.
Any suggestions?

Try reinstalling iOS in DFU mode. If won't help -- Apple Store or a trusted repair shop.

Thanks for that but it doesn’t even turn off. Apple store it is.

Apple Store tried but the patient fauled to respond. Going to get £40 Android from Argos. Apple staff were fab about the others I heard and saw around me.
