So which phone takes the cake as the phone with the best value for the price you pay?

I think the Moto X provides the best value w/ specs for the price. I do like the Nexus 5X a lot except for the RAM quantity, and the design at the back with the hump. I am still in the market for a backup Android phone myself, so I might revisit the Moto X or look to move onto the Nexus 5X.

a better place
MOTO X Pure
One Plus 2

And if pricing translates

NEXUS 5X
Nexus 6P

They are all seem good value.

However there's some great bargains on the LG G4 and even S6/Edge that bring them not too far away from those devices too.

I think the OP2 is hard to get at this point in time, so it will cost folks more to get it sooner rather than later. NFC loss is a huge since that means no Android Pay. Nexus 6P is good, but I don't like the design of it.

I think the Moto takes the cake because most folks care about software support and specs relative to this board.

Prices (Brand New Unlocked)

Moto X (16GB) - $399
Nexus 5X (16GB) - $379
Note 5 (32GB) - $579
HTC M9 (32GB) -$431
LG G4 (32GB) - $422

My best guess is the Nexus 5X. I'd chosen the Moto X; however, the lack of fingerprint scanner is tough not to have if you are used to it.

Yep, you are right. I buy too many phones that I confuse myself with the prices.

The price makes me very cautious to go with because I don't think 16GB is sufficient. If it's the Moto X, then it is worth $399 imo. I really like the fingerprint scanner and might bite for one. But I hardly use an Android device much.

Moto X or Nexus 5X. I do think the Note5 is the best phone on that list tho.
