Phonecalls on Yosemite

I do, I have an iPhone 6 updated to the latest released version of iOS8.. do I have to pair the phone with my iMac? But how?
I know the SMS feature comes with 8.1 on Monday but I should be able to do the phonecalls thing now..
EDIT: All working, I can't click Facetime or Audio buttons, some contacts are in blue, but some are not, but next to a number I can now press dial and it dials the call
is this how it should be does anyone know?
