Do you think you are the only one using your current phone? I don’t like using popular phones. I am the only one using Galaxy Premier I9260 around my friends and family with a great replacement battery from mpj which is also somewhat less popular. It could be because other widely published flagship handset released at the same time or failure of advertising. So which phone do you have that you've never noticed anyone else used?

I hope the reasoning behind this isn't as pretentious as it sounds.

Anyway, to answer the question, I have seen quite a few people using the same phone as the one I have (Nexus 5).

I'm the only one I know that has an HTC One M8, but that will change next month as my wife just told me she wanted that instead of the iPhone 6 for her next upgrade.

I never see phablet Windows Phones in the wild, and if it wasn't for poor app selection, I would have a Lumia 1520 and would consider it cool that not many would have the same phone. But I would never get a phone for the reason of being unique.

If Windows Phone actually had Google support, I would have really considered the Windows Phone M8.

Now that's sexy as hell

I used to own a Nexus One. It sold 135k initially and never saw anyone in public use it. It was as rare to me like my old Atari Jaguar. I never knew anyone or saw anyone own it except for people selling it online or on YouTube videos.

I've seen maybe 4-5 people in public own HTC One M7. Never M8 as it never sold here. I've seen maybe 2 people here own Xiaomi Mi 3 and both times at the mall. Maybe if I visited China, I would see more of it as it did sell like over 10M. I like that when I bring it back to US, nobody will really have it just like Asus Zenfone 5 and many ones sold only in Asia. HTC One M7 or M8 would be more common in US and even that isn't common like iPhones and Samsungs.

One of the most common I see in Manila actually comes from SONY Xperias. That's rare in US but quite popular in the Philippines along with Lenovo and locals brands like Cherry Mobile and MyPhone. Asus is on the rise too since they offer better value than most.

Damn WP OS looks like it fits so well with the M8.

If I had any say so about what MS does, I would give the top 100 app developers free advertisement for a year on Bing, to create apps for WP.
