Just got iPhone 16 new photo app is bad. No plans to update this similar to how it was before?

Maybe someone can develop a third party photo app that brings back the good old Photos.

I hate the new photos app.

You can customize it which is nice but some of the changes make no sense to me.

When looking at a photo you used to press back in the upper left. Was that way from the beginning.

Now it’s on the right. Why?

Who is using this buttons to close a picture? Touch with your finger anywhere on the screen and swipe down. This will close the picture.

I am sure there are many photo apps in the AppStore that might look alike the old one and could support iCloud photo sync. Similar to the many music apps that also support Apple Music and your standard music Library. I didn't even notice a difference because I use it almost only on Mac.
