My search skills seem to be failing me, so forgive if this has been answered before.

Do the 3rd party photo apps like Camera Bag strip geotag information from photos? If I take a photo with the normal photo app, the geotagging seems to work fine, but if I use Camera Bag, or one of the other apps I've experimented with, the geotag information doesn't seem to be working.

Am I doing something wrong, or does the geotag feature simply not work with 3rd party apps?

Thanks.

My guess would be that is up to if the developer the app is capturing the GPS data or not. I don't think it would be automatic, I think they would have to account for it.

Just guessing.

iPhone SDK does not give developer a way to save the image with EXIF. If developer choose to hack it, it is a big risk to get removed from App Store.
