Photo curation stuck at 90%

Hi guys,

So last year Apple introduced this photo curation feature. I remember a lot of posts here from people that had issues with this (including me). But in the end, the process finished.

Now, to my surprise, this whole photo curation thingy is back. I don't know since when but probably since Big Sur. It's also back on my iPhone and also iPad. And it seems to be stuck at 90%.

Anyone knows if Apple reset any settings so that this whole curation has to be done again? Anyone else also encountering this?

Now it's been basically 2 full days + 2 nights where I had my devices plugged in and it's still not completed on any of them. Is it normal that it takes so long?

Sorry for bumping this again but as an update: I just updated to macOS 11.1 and iOS and iPadOS 14.3 and still the process seems to be stuck. Why is this stuck on all of my devices? :-(

EDIT: It turned out that this caused the issue. Now it's finally done curating on my devices.
