Photo duplicated photos

Hello,

it happens to me quite often following problem when importing photos from my iPhone that has become quite annoying.

Every import sessions I always find to import some photos (not all) that I have already imported in the past sessions.

My iPhone is running latest iOS versions, 9.1

What could it depend on?

When in Photos with your iPhone connected, are you choosing to import everything from your phone? If this is the case, and assuming you still have the pics that were previously imported, that would be the reason for duplicates. Photos app should automatically realize that you have already imported certain photos, in which case you can choose pics from your phone that have not been imported yet.

^^Same thing happens to me. I have imported all photos from my phone but when I hook up to iTunes for back up the same 9 photos come up as not imported. If I import them again they are all duplicates. After that happen the first time I deleted all the dups. But now every time I connect the same 9 photos show up as ready for import again.

It's like for some reason it doesn't recognize that "these" photos have already been imported. Haven't found a way to fix it and just hit no on option to import.

My iPad used to do this when importing from camera.
Switched to an android tablet and used the file system to import just the photos I wanted to import.
Never looked back.
