I recently change from iPhone 13 to iPhone 14. I edit photos often.

I add a text box to the photo. While editing a text box, I used to be able to click a button on the bottom right of the screen. It looks like one of the colored circles, but with a multicolored outline around it. When clicking that button it opened a screen with the red, green, and blue sliders. I could adjust the sliders and change the color of the text I had typed.

This button is no longer there when I am editing a text box. How do I get this back on my photos app? I want to be able to change the color of my text in the text box. Thank you

It should still be there. You're sure the text box is selected and has focus? If so, try restarting your phone if you haven't already.

Thank you for the reply.
I am focused on the text box while editing in the photos app. It doesn't make any sense.
Do you know who I should contact to report this problem?

Are you able to post a full screenshot of the issue? Maybe we're doing something differently. Are you saying the multi-color button isn't there at all? Or that the sliders aren't there when tapping the multi-colored button? Also, did you restart your phone? (Just in case something got into a bad state somehow.)

I don't need any updates and I did the force restart recommended by apple support. I'll post some pics and a video. Let me know if you'd like to see anything or if you think of something I could try to fix it.

I see now. It looks like you might have Display Zoom turned on (Settings -> Display & Brightness -> Display Zoom). If you have this on, some screens will show less content. Did you happen to have this off on your old phone? If you want to leave it on, you can see the missing multi-color button if you rotate your phone to landscape mode.

That is possible. Too bad I can't check ☹️. Apple support said I should backup my phone and then restore it to factory settings. Now it won't restore. I'll post the video of the restore fail and error message. I have tried the update option and the restore option. They both result in the same error.

I went to the apple website that pops up on my phone. It told me to do a forced reset while it's connected to the macbook. i was able to complete the update option and that brought my phone back to the state it was in.
I just checked my settings and I did have display zoom turned on. I turned it off and now I can see the color customization option on the text editing screen.
Thank you very much 😄🍾🎉🍾
