I am using the Beta for public macOS Mojave ... I take a lot of photos on a daily basis and using Photos I label the first one in each of my groups like landscape, each of my dogs, etc. I can still label them as before the OS change but all the other photos show the file name.jpg

Is there a way I can change a setting (which I cannot find) and leave all images without that "number.jpg" under them, except for the photos I manually label?

I have sent in my request through the Feedback Assistant.

*** After some searching in this forum I may have confused some readers or will confuse some by saying "file name" when I am actually not wanting a 'title" below the photo ... I know the 'file name' will never change in my photo.library nor do I want it to change. I am just not wanting the file name to be posted under the images that I download into Photos. ***
