Hi all,

I'm going to do a clean install of Catalina and I just want to confirm I can copy the 'Photos Library' to Catalina and it'll keep all my photos and Albums intact.

Does Catalina still call it 'Photos Library' or would I have to change it?

Thanks,
Richard.

I believe it is the same. Copy it over and try to open it.

yes - "Photos version 5" is very similar to previous version - but will it upgrade the data base when opened - so make sure you have a back up of the existing "Photos Library.photoslibrary" file before opening in Catalina
