I have two Mac Pros. When I add photos to the library of one, iCloud ensures that they appear automatically in the photo library of the other. That works perfect.
But that is not the case on my MacBook Pro.
In iCloud, iCloud Photos, My Photo Stream and Shared Albums are checked.
In Photos iCloud Photos, Download Originals to this Mac, My Photostream and Shared Albums are checked.
Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance for helping me.

Problem is solved. :) Although all the photo's of my MacBook Pro were already in the cloud, I had to upload them again. No additional space was used. After uploading, the MacBook Pro started to download the recent photo's of my Mac Pro's.

On the MacBook Pro > Photos > Preferences > General - is the Photos Library designated as the System Photo Library? You need to have it designated at the System Photo Library to sync with iCloud Photos (see Photos > Help > Photos Help > Manage the Photos library > System Photo Library).

Be sure the MacBook Pro is fully signed into iCloud. Go to System Preferences > iCloud and click on Account Details. If you're asked for a password, enter it - you weren't fully signed in. If the details are revealed, your sign-in was good.
