The photo management stuff in iOS 5 is a very welcome addition (album creation, management, photo editing, etc). There is a major issue with it though.
It does not sync changes back to my iPhoto Albums and you can't create Events on your iDevice either. So if I go on vacation and take a bunch of pictures on my phone and organize my pictures by creating new albums when I get home and sync my phone with iTunes, the albums are not pushed back to iPhoto! I essentially have to import my pictures again (or use Photo Stream) and re-create the albums and everything I did on the phone already. That is crappy.
It is the same idea as creating playlists on your phone and then when you sync your phone, the playlist is added to iTunes. It would be nice for iPhoto to have a reverse-sync option.
