Hi Guys,

Need some help in getting this sorted. I am using Pixelmator Photo and I am editing a photo in it, after editing on it. I am trying to save the edited copy in an New Album that I have created in the Photos APP of my iPad Pro but it is not getting saved ! Can anyone tell me why is this happening and what can I do to fix this ?

It's a bug in Pixelmator Pro. It doesn't work for me either.

You have to share or export your picture. the non-destructive edits in Pixelmator Photo can‘t be copied to another album in Photos.

EDIT (for clarity): First you do your edit in Pixelmator Photo. Then choose More->Export, define the format and use Save Picture to add it in that format to Photos. Or you just choose More->Share->Save Image to save a JPEG to Photos.

Hey I know you can use the Share Button and then save the Edited Photo to the Photos APP and from there save it to the desired album, but I was asking if there is any way to save the Edited Photo directly from the Pixelmator Photo APP in one of the desired Albums in the Photos APP on the iPad ?

So you are saying that is not possible right ?

For Pixelmator Photo 1.5.2 I think you can not.

Since we are already on the topic of Pixelmator Photo do you know If I want to enhance the Contrast, Sharpness and Brightness in an image in Pixelmator Photo what is the best way to do it ? Using the ML Enhance ? or ML Super Resolution ?

Which of these two will give a better result ? I generally like the Image on the Cooler Side than on the Warmer Side ? When I say not the Bluish Tint ? Not also the warmer tone a kind of balance.

So which one is more useful in such a scenario ?

Pixelmator Pro is the big brother on MacOS of Pixelmator Photo. Highly recommended on the Mac.

Why are you being so rude? It was just a mistake. I'm used to using Pixelmator Pro on my Mac. Have some respect. You know very well that I was referring to the iPad.
