I've been playing with Photoscape X... so far, it's decent. We were using Picasa until Google pulled the plug...

There are tons of this sort of app. Do a search on Google or MacUpdate.com to narrow down your options. I use Apple's own Photos app, for personal photography—but I use Pixa for client images. But we could spend thousands of words listing and describing other apps.
