Photo sharing

I am looking for a way for a bunch of us parents who were just on a trip with our 8th grade students to Washington, DC to be able to download all our pictures to one place so all can see them and if they want pick what pictures they want and download them to their own computers. Any ideas or experience with a situation like this?

Your key requirement is "one place". The simplest plan would be to get a new Drop Box or Google Drive account and let everyone log in to that same account. I don't like that idea because it's never good to share on-line accounts. Better if one person collected them all and put them on line.

I believe the Dropbox file request feature can help you out. You would create a folder and everyone you invite can upload files to it. You can also share the folder so the people you send a link can download files from it: The people you invite to share files do not need to have a Dropbox account, but you would need one. You get 2 gb for free, I guess that would be more than enough for your trip photos:

For situations like this, I use Photostream. You can start the stream and invite others to view and post to the stream. All the people you share with have to be Apple users though.

The school set up a dropbox account and is having all of us download our pictures there. Thanks for the advice and help!
