photo sorting issue

For some reason I have lost the option to sort my photos. I used to be able to change sorting latest to oldest and vice versa but sorting now doesn't even show up as an option. Will appreciate any advice. Thanks

It would be helpful to know which iOS version you're on. In 14.6 it's still possible to sort in albums by tapping the More button and selecting Sort to view the options.

Would you post a screenshot of the More menu options (from any album)? That will help to see what you're seeing.

Thanks for the screenshot. That looks like the More menu from the All Photos view, and it's not available there (as I mentioned). It's only available in Albums. Tap instead on Albums, then select one of your albums, and then try the More options. Let me know if you see Sort there. If not, would you post of screenshot?

Sorry that I am late in responding, we have family in for the 4th of July etc. Actually, the screen shot I posted was after I Opened photo app and then clicking on an album and then on the 3 dots on upper right of screen.

Please disregard my problem post, I have it figured out. Just as WildSky stated, I wasn't really looking at an album.
