Photo stream kinda.. Local network alternative

Hey guys..
I am looking for an option where I can transfer my iPhone photos to my iPad through local wifi..but not through photo steam( because I don't have that much fast Internet)..also I have limited internet( yes wifi - some parts of the world still do

So something like good reader app that can sync files locally through wifi transfer .. But here I won't them to sync my camera roll on both devices..

I won't mind a jailbreak app too.. Please suggest if there are any alternatives..

Photo Transfer is pretty good, works over Bluetooth too

Check out the app Photo Synch. I have not tried the iPhone to iPad yet but I know it is very versatile at shooting your photos from device to device.
