After IOS 5 download everything working fine except syncing photos. The sync slows to a crawl, then iTunes freezes. The photo folder names sync to iPad, but are empty, i.e. no photos! Then I receive an error message, "sync failed." I did delete iPod photo cache, but that did not help.

I hadn't run into this when syncing my new 4S last night, but I absolutely did today when setting my son up with my old 4. It synced everything else and when it got to the photos it just stopped. iTunes froze and pegged CPU at 100%. A couple of retries got some of the photos copied, but not all. Not sure what's up with that.

Inability To Sync Photos after iOS 5!!!

I too am having the same issue. When I check the box for example in "Albums" it says there are X amount of photos contained in the album, but when I look in the iPhone under albums it is empty.

I knew I should have waited until all of the bugs were worked out.

Photo sync

I am running Window XP. Sync went fine but no pictures, and it says it was interrupted. After a few re-setups on some items, everything is working fine. Any ideas on the pictures?

Photo Sync never complete

I've got similar problems. Since iOS 5, both my 3GS and now my 4S never seem to complete photo syncs. Can't quite put my finger on why some albums don't completely sync (or in some cases remain completely empty) and why others seem to sync fine.

Very annoying!
