photo thumbnails upside down

when taking photos with the volume button up and to the right, the resulting thumb nail is upside down. Picassa is smart enough to flip it around when you open the pic, but the upside-down thumbnail is annoying...any fixes, besides shooting with the home button to the right?

I don't have any answers for you, but the same thing just happened to me. I thought it might be the image processing software I use, but after eliminating everything else from my workflow, it appears to be iOS5.
