Hello. I have a question about Airdropping photographs from iPhone to iMac for who may be very aware of image quality.

Does anyone notice any change in image quality when airdropping photos? I feel like I’m seeing a slight difference but im not sure if im crazy lol. Does anyone know if you would lose some quality in the files that are airdropped?

Would it be better to connect to the iMac with a usb to transfer photos? Would quality be better by connecting to the iMac rather than Airdropping? I’m curious if anyone has info on this? Thanks.

Airdrop is simply a file transfer method using Bluetooth & Wifi technology. It will do absolutely nothing to alter the quality of the file itself. As Longkeg mentioned, you're simply seeing the difference in display technology, color profiles, and screen resolution difference.
