Photos and videos

Iphone 6 128g, updated my phone yesterday. Now when I take photos or videos and try and retrieve them in photos app they are not there. I can sometimes see them in the bottom left corner (preview) of the camera app but can't share them (greyed out). When I close out of the camera they are never in the photos app. Did I miss a box to check or something?
Also, I just checked and none of my videos taken prior to IOS 9 update will play I just get the spinning circle in the middle like it is loading but never does.

Do you have iCloud Photo Library turned on?

I know this is obvious but have you tried to restart your phone?

I do not have the library turned on but oddly enough I just restarted for the third time and that did it.

I am having a similar issue. I use iCloud photo to store my photos. When I take photos they take a while to show up in my library on the phone and some do not at all. I can see the photos but if I try to do anything with them like send in iMessage it say's retrieving or preparing and it never loads the photo. On Photos on my Mac nothing is present since before I upgraded.
