First, I love the "automatic" nature of the various "Media Types" albums, at least when importing from my iPhone.

I love that bursts, slo-mo, time-lapse, panorama, etc, all automatically appear in those albums, because it can be very useful for finding some photos/videos.

What I don't like is that there appears to be no way to "tag" photos/videos I take on my dedicated digital camera to these.

My digital camera can take bursts at up to 60fps, up to 100 photos per burst. On the camera's UI, it even 'stacks' these, so that if I take five bursts of 100, it only shows "5 photos". (Similar to the iPhone interface, I can go in and choose a 'key frame', delete individual photos from the burst, etc.) But as soon as I import them to Photos, I have 500 individual photos, rather than 5 bursts.

Does anyone know of a way to tag a group of photos as a burst so they appear as a "stack" in Photos.app? (Even if I have to do it manually after importing, that's fine, I just want to declutter my main interface.)

Likewise, my digital camera can take slow-motion videos (at 120fps, 400fps, or 1200fps, at decreasing resolutions.) I'd love it if I could tag those videos as "Slo-mo" so they would appear in the Media Type album, too.
