Does anyone know how to trick the Photos app to combining multiple shots into a burst so they're stacked? These are photos not taken with an iPhone, but instead a canon camera. I'm trying to regain the "stacks" feature lost in Aperture.

If I take a "burst" of photos with with my iPhone they get stacked and added to a a "Burst" album. My question is how to do it with non-iphone sourced photos. I'm wondering how the software determines what's burst and what's not. metadata? time?, etc.
