Running 15.2. iPhone 14 Pro, 256gb, used 142gb. iCloud photos enabled, 50gb tier, more than half still available. About 8Gb of photos (after clean install from my iPhone 11).
The problem is that the Photos app does not recognizes me in any photo I take with the stock camera app, or in older photos. I mean, even in perfect light, contrast, focus, distance, background and only me or with other persons, but the photos app does not detect me as a person!. I can be in a photo with 1 or 4 friends, all in the same light, size, clear view and it detects other persons, but it seems it is deliberately avoiding recognizing me. Anyone has seen this behavior in iOS 15?. In iOS 14 I had no such problem, but today I realized that I can’t search photos where I appear!!!!. What is going on??? i don’t appear in the “persons” section of the photos app, so I can’t delete me. To be clear, it is not detecting me as another person, I am simply not being picked up by the AI. At all, and I have tens of photos where I appear and taken new photos today and nothing, seems I am vampire for the stock photos app!!! ( you know, vampires and mirrors

In the Google photos app I am included but that app ja voodoo.
By the way, is there a way to make the app find people automatically?. It is useless all this improved AI and super duper CPUS for machine learning if it can’t recognize it’s owner or if I have to find a photo with person and teach the AI that there is a person and taggin his name, instead of just telling me a “faces” section. Really getting WAAAAAAAY behind Android. Is Tim using his products???
