Photos (beta) Web App Gone

The icon for Photos (beta) on my iCloud.com home screen has disappeared. Curiously, it remains on a friend's account. Have you had a similar experience?

Same here.

From icloud.com it's gone.

From beta.icloud.com it's there but when you click it it gives an error.
