Photo's cannot email photo

I wonder if anyone has any ideas about an issue I have come across in the last couple of days.

I often need to email photo's I take on my phone and have always done this by right clicking the photo in the Photo's app and selecting email which pops open the image in an email and off we go.

The last couple of days when I go in to Photo's and do this nothing happens. If I then try and right click again the entire right click context menu is completely greyed out.

Does anyone have any ideas what this might be and how I might fix it please ?

Been doing a bit more digging tonight and I think it relates to this message in Console
