Photos crashing

every time i drag a photo to the desk top Photos quits. In Sierra
I seem to remember this thread already listed but cannot find it.
I enquire again in case there is a solution.

how the hell do you fix this damn app? I tried everything from repairing the photos library to reinstalling the operating system.

The last thing that I want to attempt is to export the photos from my library and then import them into a new library, but it always begins it's never-ending "hang crash" after 10 seconds of opening. My Console log for the photos "hang crash."
