Odd.
I seem to remember in earlier versions of Photos that using an external editor would automatically create a dupe, so after you edited and saved…you would have your original next to your edited pic.
Now it seems (on all my computers) that editing only edits the original, without auto-creating a dupe. I can still a) duplicate image, and then b) revert to original…but that's a lot of extra steps.
Anyone know if there's a setting/toggle I'm missing?
