You might want to use the timg tag or what ever the tag is to scale down the photos.
lol he probably wanted to make the point bigger is better. i resized mine
it gets me through the day. I am 9 hours in right now with 46% remaining. Depends on the usage. Weekends it gets me good 8/9 hours of usage. The screen is what uses most of the battery on the device almost half of it.
