I've been seeing the photos in various places online.

MBKHD did a review and it was clear the Pixel 2 had way better processing.

My buddy got one and posted a selfie on Facebook. The camera, a front facing camera at that, is phenomenal.
It was so clear and the white balance was perfect. And he was in his office in sub-par lighting. The photos are so CLEAR looking. Almost DSLR like. I know the blur is artificial, but Google is nailing it.

Here's a tweet. Low light is outstanding.

These don't even look like they came from a smartphone. I guess technology has improved since my 6S Plus. Wow.

I don't know what Google is doing, but man, they are putting those algo's to work. I guess letting people upload all their photos for free gave them crazy amounts of data to work with.

No doubt the Pixel 2 has an incredible camera. They do a little more processing and it takes a little longer to see the photo after taking a shot but they deliver the best photos I have seen.

Just got a Pixel 2 yesterday and I must say this is the best "point and shoot" camera on a phone I've ever used. You'll need a third party camera app for manual functions since it's all automatic by default, but the auto focus on the camera is instantaneous and the pictures are gorgeous. There's actually an image processor that's dormant in the Pixel 2 right now ... "Visual Core" ... and it will be activated with Android Oreo 8.1 later this year ... so the camera is going to get even better. It will add HDR and a host of other things.

Yes love the camera on the pixel 2 hands down the best, it’s the rest of the phones quality control that keeps me away!
