so I’ve noticed something that’s been happening to me a lot lately. I think this is an iOS 11 development but I can’t say for sure.

On my iPhone 6 Plus, I’ll take a picture and almost immediately the photo will be uploaded to my iCloud library and will be removed from the iPhone. Today I noticed the extreme reality of it. I took a photo on a hike (so obviously not on WiFi) and then immediately opened my messages app to text to my gf. The photo had the little cloud on it and I had to wait for the picture to download before I could send it. This happened again later in the hike. This seems bananas to me. Anyone else experiencing this?

For the record I have 12GB of free space and have 13.32GB of photos on my iPhone.

I use iCloud Photo Library in the cloud as well and it still operates normally using OS 11.2. Photo stays on my IPhone X as well as uploaded in the cloud as advertised.
