I'm currently using about 130 GB of iCloud storage with photos and videos taken with an iPhone over the past eight years or so. I have a separate photo and video library on a hard drive of about 300 GB taken with non-iPhone cameras (not RAW - keeping those archived on a dedicated drive). I've been thinking about uploading everything to iCloud, partly for backup purposes, but also for convenience of accessibility.

Curious how others have approached their media library organization. I would need to pay for the 2 TB $9.99/month plan, and I'm trying to decide if the $120/year cost would be justified.

I’ve put everything up on iCloud. Have access to all my photos all the time. Life is good.
