iPhone Photos in Messages showing "Downloading" forever

Is this happening to anyone else? See attached.

EDIT: Fixed! All I had to do was turn iMessages off and then back on. Simple.

Have you tried a reboot? If so, I would suggest just asking her to resend the attachment and explaining what happened. I've never had this bug, so it'll probably never happen to you again.
