Are my Photos library being backed up to my external hard drive automatically through time machine

I have a 4tb external hard drive for time machine but I also dragged and dropped The whole photos library manually to the hard drive for periodic backup.

I'm now looking through the contents of the time machine backup and I believe that photos library is included in the auto backups, can someone confirm this.

This would make my manual backup of drag and drop pointless and taking up more space than necessary, and I could probably drag and drop the whole manual backup to the trash bin.

Everything on your internal drive will back up with Time Machine. You can explicitly exclude items in the Preferences pane under options. Your other external hard drives will also be backed up if you take them off the exclusion list.
[doublepost=1514318377][/doublepost]You can also check by opening Time Machine and looking to make sure everything is there.
