Hi Guys,

So I wanted to free up some space on my machine and noticed the majority is being taken up by Photos. Now I pay the 79p plan with Apple for 50gb iCloud storage space however my mac is taking up a lot of space and I seem to have a "photos" section which is taking up 27gb then an iPhoto library which is around 9gb.

Why do I have both? Do I need both? Is there some kind of config I can do to reduce this other than deleting pics?

I obviously have tons of videos and photos however my iPhone for example reduces the size.

I am on 10.14

Any advice appreciated!

Thanks
