Hi Folks,
I had a Mac upgrade forced on me when my iMac exploded, so I dutifully went out and bought a MacMini. I've copied my iPhoto/Photos library across, but Catalina decided it didn't like it and has 'repaired and upgraded' the library and seems to have lost all my tags.

I am now faced with having to reorganize 267GB of photos.

Is there something better than Photos? I don't mind paying, but I only want to have to resort / reorder everything once.

Adobes' Lightroom is an alternative. There are others, but you will lose integration features between devices and iCloud that the Apple programs offer.

Capture One Pro

Excellent piece of software as a successor to Aperture. One-off licence available, in case you're allergic to monthly/annual subscription fees
