I've bought a new MacBook Pro, running OS 13.2 and Apple Photos 8.0.

I backed-up my stuff on a HDD and transferred to the new Mac. Clicking on the Photos Library brings up the following error:

"Unsupported Library - The library "Photos Library" is from a newer version of Photos. Please upgrade Photos to open this library"

But it seems Photos 8.0 is the newest. I can't see any updates are available for my Mac. How do I open all my old photos?!

What was the macOS version on your previous Mac? Photos is bundled with macOS.
You should update at least to version 13.6.
