We want to share a Photos Library between two Users /Logins (on the same iMac) under macOS [10.13].
Have successfully moved the [Pictures/Photos.photoslibrary] from User1 to the Shared directory. And adjusted Permissions. No problem for User1, but the same Photo Library still can't be accessed by User2 for some reason. (We don't want to use iCloud).
Does the shared library really have to be on an external (slower) drive? Eg. [https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201517]. What about a separate Partition, could that work? Other suggestions?
