Photos Location Showing as "home" on iOS but not Mac os

Hi just wondering is anyone else noticing an odd location bug/glitch on iOS and MacOS when you take a photo at your house or near your house the location of that photo will display as "home" but the same photo on the Mac will display as the location where the house is and not "home" as it does on the iOS devices. Ive noticed this since about iOS 10 so its not unique to Mojave and iOS 12

anybody notice this and if so why is it normal behaviour or a bug just curious.
