Photos mixed up

The Photos app has been messed up for me, for quite some time. The photos are not in order, ie. they are not sorted by date. Latest photos appear midway through, while some old ones appear as latest. I do not know what is causing this, but it does not happen with all photos, only a few albums.

Kindly help regarding the same!

Photos added to an album (in Photos for iOS) appear in the order they were added to the album unless you have rearranged them individually. AFAIK there is no way to quickly sort photos in an album back into chronological order like you can in Photos for OS X.

It would be nice if you could. I added some old photos to my iCloud Library that were only on my PC prior. They are at the end of my photos list but are almost 10 years old. They sort correctly on the Photos tab but not on the Album tab. Ahh well.
