I tried searching this forum but I got nothing in the search results.

I don’t know if it’s just me or anyone else experiencing this after upgrading to iOS 13, but none of my photos in photo roll show their location. In iOS 12 each photo individually showed where it was taken.

Same here. Instead of showing where it was taken, it only shows the date such as: today, yesterday, Sunday, 8/24, etc.

However, if you push the photo up, you can still see where it is on the map.

Wonder if this is intentional....I liked it the way it was before.

I'm still seeing photo locations on iOS 13.

When I look at individual photos, I can swipe the photo up to see "Places" which shows a map of where the photo was taken. And I also see Places in the Album tab that shows a map with all the photos I took in that area.

I’m pretty sure he means prior to iOS 13, when viewing a picture it’d say:
“Los Angeles, CA
8/24/2019” on the top. Whereas now it only shows the day / date.

Thanks for the replies - I didn’t realize swiping up shows the location. It’s not bad this way but I do prefer the old way which always showed the location in text form above the picture.
