I have an iMac and a MacBook Pro and i have noticed the problem for awhile, although I haven't been able to solve it. On my photo stream I am able to see the photos that are uploaded onto my Mac Book Pro, although I am not able to see any of the photos from my iMac. I have confirmed that Photo Sharing is set to on for both computers and on all my devices. I am having a hard time to find other forums that discuss this specific issue. Thank in advance for any advice.

Thanks!

I'm interested in any responses that you get. My photos automatically went to my 2012 rMBP, but don't to my new 2016 15" MacBook Pro. I tried to resolve this with a phone call to Apple but the only result was to send photos to the computer plugging the iPhone in and using iTunes. I also can't add photos sent by e-mail from others to the Photo app on my computer. Interestingly the photos taken with my iPhone still go to my iPads automatically.
