Hi All,

This is an odd one. Having upgraded to Catalina, the Photos library is missing (see picture below). All of the photos appear to be there - I can search for them or access them via the other libraries. I've tried deleting a few Preferences files and rebuilding the library, but no joy. Has anyone else seen this?

Found it! This is an odd symptom of using Catalina Patcher. Right-clicking any picture in the library and choosing "Show in All Photos" is the workaround, which is in the Catalina Patcher thread, so I should have really just RTFM :D

Thanks - been scratching my head over this for a couple of hours :)

In my case I've installed Catalina in VMware Fusion on my iMac Pro running Mojave and I see that somebody in the Patcher thread has mentioned that VMs are also affected by this issue.
