So i just installed the GM seed. Something I would do regularly in iOS 14 is in the Photos app, go to search and search for today's date without the year (ex. "September 16"). This would give me every photo taken on this day in any year. It was a great way to see old photos that happened on this day throughout the years. I loved it.

So today after installing the GM of iOS 15, i go do the same thing and it returns back no photos. Then i try the full date (ex. "September 16 2020") to get all photos on that day from last year and it returns back no photos. I know I have photos from that day. If i do a search for "September 2020" then it returns all photos from September of last year.

Just curious if others have seen this issue? I already reported it with the Feedback app.

Also works fine for me. Hey, this is fun. That’s my watch from 15 years ago today. 😂

Have you given it time to re-index the photos? I couldn't search by people right away. When going into the People album, it told me to plug in my phone and lock the screen to finish indexing the photos. The searching worked better the next day after I let it do that overnight.

Hi
Did you ever sort this? I just updated today and I’m so gutted this isn’t working. I love looking back on my baby this time last year!
Thanks

You need to wait until the indexing process is complete. Since you just updated, the best thing you can do is plug it in and leave it locked for awhile so it can churn away, or try again tomorrow.
