Photos stuck on "looking up location info" for three days after large import

Took a trip to Boston, took a lot of photos, and imported them to Photos three days ago. (iPhone 13 Pro and MBP (2021) running latest software.)

Three days later, none of the imported photos have location names. They appear in the right city on the little map, but each one says "Looking up location info" in the info box.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Three months and several OS updates later, hundreds of imported photos from June still stuck on "looking up location" in Photos. Any ideas? Would rebuilding the Photos library force a refresh? (I'm afraid if I rebuild the library, the problem might spread to other photos.) Thanks.

Problem persisted for almost 6 months. Installed Ventura yesterday and it's fixed.
